For Westport, per Beautiful Star, at 1.45 p.m.; late fee letters, at 2 p.m.; guard’s van, 2.40 p.m. train For Northern Porta, per Penguin, at 7 p.m. The guard’s van must not he used for this mail. The next mail for the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, trill be closed at Christchurch on Saturday, March 25th, and will be due in London on May 9th. Notice. —Penny duty stamps may in future be used as postage stamps, and penny postage stamps may be affixed to receipts in place of duty stamps. SYDNEY J. DICK, Chief Postmaster.
