[eeutee’s telegeams.] MELBOURNE, March 15. Grain. New Zealand feed oats are unchanged at 3s 4d; milling do have advanced to 3s 7d; wheat is steady at 5a 7d; barley has declined to 4s sd. The “ Argus” Victorious. In the action for libel brought by Mr Williams, who was Minister of Mines in the Berry administration, against the proprietors of the “ Argus,” a verdict has been returned for the defendants, the jury finding that the comments of the “ Argus ” were fair and justifiable. ADELAIDE, March 15. The Conspiracy Case. At the Police Court to-day, Messrs Hicks, Barber, and Horton were committed for trial on a charge of conspiracy to defraud tho Australian Mutual Provident Society and the Australian Alliance Company.
