Important Rise in the Price of Wool At the wool auction to-day, 10,900 bales were offered, and there was a good demand. Prices for medium to fine greasy wools rule -Jd fo Id higher than at the last sale ; for washed fleeces abont Id higher; for scoured also, ahont 2d higher, and for crossbreds, 4d to Id higher than at the last sale. The MailsThe homeward Australian mail, via Brindisi, which left Melbourne on Feb. Ist, was delivered in London to-day.
