At the University Senate sittings the financial report showed the estimated revenue for the coming year to be £3520, while the expenditure would be £3585. It was, therefore, decided to increase tbo fees for the B.A. degree by a guinea, and for the M.A. and L.L.B. degrees by two guineas, and for the L.L.D. and Mus. degrees by five guineas, while graduates ad eundem gradum, and undergraduates ad eundem ttatum will be required to pay two guineas, instead of one guinea as heretofore. It wis also resolved to discontinue advertising tho times for receiving applications for ad eundem degrees, and to reduce by 25 per cent, tho allowances made to members of the Senate. A committee was appointed to consider the advisability ot undertaking the Civil Service examination in connection with the entrance examination.
