Mails close at tho Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to the neoatsary alterations) aa under: — SATURDAY, MAECH 11. For Northern Ports, per Hawea, at 7 p m. The guard’s van must not bo used for this mail. Notick. —Penny duty stamps may in future bo used as postage stamps, and penny postage stamps may be affixed to receipts in place of duty stamps. Notice.— Magazines, if posted in rovers open at the end and marked “ Marire rost,’* can be sent to any part of Ne w Zealand at the rate of one half-penny fcr each two ounces.
