The Customs duties collected at Christchurch on Monday, March 6th, were as follows Spirits, £384 3a 6d; tobacco, £162 2s 6d; wine, £23 ; beer, £tS 2s: sugar, £l4; tea, £8 2s 6d ; goods by weight, £ 7 2s 4d ; ad valorem, £589 16s ; other duties, £141135. Total, £1403 Is lOd. At the usual sitting of the Waste Lands Board held at Christchurch on Monday, March 6th, sales were made as follows Ordinary Akaroa, 25u: Ashburton, 66a; town of Waimate, 2r lOp. Total acreage sold, 91a 2r lOp. Total cash received, £209 Bs.
