New Zealand securities are unchanged at the following quotations—s per cent. 10-40 Loan,los ; 4f per cent. 1889 Loan, 104 ; 4f per cent. 1879-1904 Loan, 100. Adelaide wheat, ex store, remains at 545; New Zealand ditto, 49a. Adelaide flour, ex warehouse, has further declined Is, and isno w quoted at 38s. Australian tallow —Best beef, 38s; beat mutton, 455. Australian leather—Beat sides are quoted at lid. At the wool sale to-day 10,000 bales were offered, making a total of 55,600 catalogued since the opening of the present series. The bidding was animated. The Diamond RobberyInformation is to hand from Brussels to the effect that the police have arrested a party of men in that city who are charged with being concerned in the robbery of diamonds and other valuables from Hatton Garden Post-office, London, in November last. The Orient MailsThe mails per Orient Company’s steamship Lusitania, which left Melbourne on January 26th, were delivered to-day. The Address to Her MalestyIn both Houses of Parliament this evening addresses to the Queen were passed, expressing gratification at her Majesty’s escape from the recent attempt upon her life. An Official Intimation. Mr W. B, Forster, Chief Secretary for Ireland, addressed a meeting at Tullamore, King County, to-day. In the course of his speech he reproached Irishmen for yielding to the terrorism which had prevailed, and added that the Government were determined that neither landlords nor tenants should mar the effectiveness of the Irish Land Act. Mr Forster further announced that the imprisoned suspects would be released when the outrages which still prevailed had ceased. YIENNA, March 6. Petty Greatness Prince Milan 11., of Servia, has assumed the title of King. The Royal proclamation was issued to-day, and was received with great rejoicing.
