TAYLOR & PAPPS, ARE now offering for Sale some of the Ficest Teas in the Colony, at remarkably low prices, ranging from Is 4d to 2s 8d per lb, and they also guarantee their Excelsior Mixture in packets of 2a 4d per lb, equal to any sold as fancy blends at 4s par lb, We do not make np for deficiency in quality by proficiency in advertising, which costs some firms 18 per lb for every pound of Tea sold by them. The result is, it does not pay them to sell a Tea at 1b 4d per lb, the same as we offer to the public—there would be nothing left for the small bat numerous agents.

The blending of tea is not as some traders imply, a new thing; we venture to state, that every grocer (that has learnt his trade), without an exception, does the same, and always has done eo, but on different principles, or to salt different tastes, bat naturally enough, what snits one does not anlt another. To meet this difficulty we have lately introduced three other separate mixtures, eaoh of a different flavor, besideß the well-known Teas usually sold by us. so that we hope to be able to please the most fastidious of tea drinkers. The new mixtures are as follows : London Mixture, packed in lib and |lb packets, red wrapper, at 2s SI per Excelsior Mixture, lib and lib packts, green wrapper, 2a 4d per lb.
