TAYLOR & PAPPS, ARE now offering for Sale some of the Ficest Teas in the Colony, at remarkably low prices, ranging frrm Is 4d to 2s 8d per lb, and they also guarantee their Excelsior Mixture in packets of 2a 4d per lb, equal to any sold as fancy blendn at 4a per lb. We do not make up for deficiency in quelity by proficiency in advertising, which ccsta some firms la per lb for every pound of Tea sold by them. The result is, it does not pay them to Bell a Tea at 1b 4d per lb, the same as wo offer to tho pub.ic—there would be nothing left for the small but numerous agents. The blending of tea is not as seme traders imply, a new thing ; we venture to state, that every grocer (that has learnt his trade), without an exception, does the same, and always has done so, but on different principles, cr to suit different tastes, but naturally enough, what suits one does not suit another. To meet this difficulty we have lately introduced three other separate mixtures, each of a different fl»vr.r, besides the well known Teas usually sold by us so that we hope to be able to please the most fastidious of tea drinkers.
The new mixtures are as follows : London Mixture, packed in lib and Jib packets, red wrapper, at 2s 81 per lb. Excelsior Mixture, lib and Jib packts, green •wrapper, 2s 4d per lb. Standard Mixture, lib and Vib paoketr, yellow wrapper, 2s per lb. Samples of these may be had gratia. THE TEIAHGLE, (Late Davenport* ■) j And HIGH STREET, TWO DOOKS FROM TUAM STREET.
