OHRISTOHUBOH. Wbekbsday, Maboh 1. [Before H. Beetham, Esq., R.M.J Dbuhkbhhbbs.—James Collier was oharged with being drunk at tbe Bailway station, with committing a nuisance in a railway carriage, with resisting and assaulting Constable Kelly, with tearing the constable's clothes, and with destroying Government property at the lookup. The evidence of Constables Kelly and Briggs proved that the man had behaved in a most disgusting manner. He was fined in the total amount of £2 18j 63, or in default seven days' imprisonment with bard labor. John McDonald was fined 10a and ordered to pay 2s cab hire, or in default twenty-four hours' imprisonment. For a first offence, a man was fined 5s and oab hire Is.

Fighting.—Edward Beynolds, alias Wm. Campbell, and Alexander Grubb were charged with fighting, on Tuesday, in the White Hart right-of-way. Beynolds, who appeared to have been the aggressor, was fined 10s, or, in default, forty-eight hours' imprisonment. Grubb was discharged. Elizabeth Mason, alias Bowen, and Amy Dixon were oharged with fighting, on Tuesday nighr,_ at Burmeister's oyster saloon, also with using obscene language. They were fined each £2, or, in default, four days' imprisonment with hard labour.

Affiliation. —James Barr was adjudged the father of an illegitimate child, and ordered to pay 7a SI per week until it arrived at the age of fourteen years, the amount to be paid to the master of the Burnham school, where the child now is. Any surplus remaining, after the cost of its maintenance has been deduoted, to accumulate for its benefit. Defendant was ordered to find security for oomplianoe, himself in £25 and one surety in £25, and to pay costs of Court, expenses of plaintiff and one witness, and solicitor's fee. Mr Holmes was for plaintiff, Mr Stringer for defendant.—A similar case against Thomas Mullins was adjourned till March 7th. Defendant to pay costs of Court, expenses of witnesses to £l9s 6d, and solicitor's fee £1 Is. Mr Izard was for plaintiff, Mr Holmes for defendant.
