Prisoner denied the thefts, saying he had bought the things from Stewart, the pawnbroker. After heariDg evidence, the Magistrate said there could not be any doubt as to the prisoner's guilt, and having been twice previously oonvioted of laroeny, he was sentenced to two months' impoisonment with hard labor,
