[retjtek's telegbamb.] LONDON, bruary 17. The Markets Consols remain at 100|. New Zealansecurities unchanged. Colonial bread stuffs are weak and easier. Adelaide wheat, ex warehonse, 555; New Zealand ditto, 525; Adelaid flour, ex warehouse, 41s. The total quantity of wheat afloat for Great Britain is 2,930,000 quarters. Australian tallow is firm at 42s for best best beef, and 48s for best mutton. LONDON, February 18. The Commercial Treaty. Intelligence is to hand from Paris to the effect that the negotiatione which are proceeding for the new treaty of commerce between France and England will probably end in a failure, and it is understood that in the event of such a result the French Government will, after the conclusion of the existing treaty, simply accord to England the most favored treatment in fixing the tariff on the articles of British manufactures.
