TAYLOR & PAPPS, A RIO now offering for Sale pome of the Finest Teas in the Colony, at remarkably low prices, ranging from Is 4d to 2a 8d per lb. and they also guarantee their Hxoelslor Mixture in packets of 2s 4d per lb, equal to any sold as fancy blende at 4s per lb. We do not make np for deficiency in quality by proficiency in advertising, which costs some firms Is per lb for every pound of Tea sold by them. The result is, it does not pay them to sell a Tea at Is 4d per lb, the same as we offer to the public—there would be nothing left for the small but numerous agents. The blending of tea is not as some traders imply, a new thing ; we venture to state, that every grocer (that has learnt his trade), without an exception, does the same, and always has done so, but on different principles, or to suit different tastes, hut naturally enough, what suits one docs not suit another. To meet this difficulty we have lately introduced three other eeparato mixtures, each of a different flavor, besides the well-known Teas usually sold by us. so that we hope to be able to please the most lastidioos of tea drinkers.
The new mixtures are as follows : London Mixture, packed in lib and Jib packets, red wrapper, at 2s SI per lb. Excelsior Mixture, 11b and lib packts, green wrapper, 2a 4d per lb. Standard Mixture, lib and Jib packets, yellow wrapper, 2s per lb. Samples of these may be had gratis. THE Tit lAN GLE, (Late Davenport's) ; And HIGH STREET, TWO DOORS FROM TTJAM STREET.
