We do not make up for deficiency in quality by proficiency in advertising, which coßta some firms la per lb for every pound of Tea sold by them. The result is, it does not pay them to sell a Tea at Is 4d per lb, the same as we offer to the public—there would be nothing left for the small but numerous agents.

The blending of tea is not as some traders imply, a new thing ; we venture to state, that every grocer (that has learnt his trade). without an exception, does the same, and always has done so, but on different principles, or to suit different tastes, bnt naturally enough, what suits one does not suit another. To meet this difficulty we have lately Introduoed three other eeparate mixtures, each of a different flwor, besides the ■well-known Teas usually sold by us so that we hope to be able to please the most fastidious of tea drinkers.

The new mixture 3 are as follows : London Mixture, packed in lib and Jib packets, red wrapper, at 2a Si per lb. Excelsior Mixture, lib and Jib packts, green wrapper, 2s 4d per lb.
