A large extent of country is inundated, and 2000 sheep have been drowned, and the mail service is entirely suspended owing to the flood. MELBOURNE, February 14. The Victorian Finances. In consequence of the satisfactory state of the Victorin finances, the Treasurer has re-purchased undue Treasury bonds to the amount of £300,000. SmallpoxThe malo nurse attending upon the smallpox patients in quarantine here has developed symptoms of variola.
