■ The wet weather on Saturday afternoon , «oon put a .top to any cricket that was got under weigh. On the Hagley Park ground the College made an attempt to commence ts match egainat Addington, but had to doaist. On the Lancaster Pork ground a start was made in the match between Lancaster Park and the U.C.0.0. Messrs Millton and F. Loughnan went to the wickets for the former club and ran up about 20 runs, when F. Loughnan succumbed. Mr E. O. J. Stevens then went in, but the game was immediately put a stop to by the rain. The match Ksiapoi v Woodend could not be completed on Saturday afternoon owing to a thunderstorm.
