There is an increasing opposition among the members of the House of Commons towards the clofurt proposals of the Government, which is daily manifesting itself in the debate on the Address in Reply to the Queen’s Speech which still continues in tho House of Commons.
ST. PETERSBURG, February 11 The Jews.
It is officially stated here that the Russian Government will repel any mediation on tho part of other Powers on behalf of the Jews; hut at the same time it will shortly adopt vigorous measures to prevent outrages against that race in Russia.
