Mails close at the Chief Post Office (or tiu following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under i SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 11. For Chatham Islands, per Omaha, at 5 p.m. For Wellington, per Wanaka, at 7.15 p.m. The guard’s van must not be used (or this mail. TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 14. For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Bingarooma, at 145 p.m.; late fee letters, at 2 p.m. ; guard’s van, 2.40 p.m. train. For Wellington, per Penguin, at 3.20 p.m. ; late fee letters at 3.30 p.m.; guard’s Tan 4 p.m. train.
The following appeared on the Telegraph notice board yesterday Mails for Australian Colonies, via Sydney, per a.s. Hero, close at Auckland on Friday, February 10th, at 10 a.m. SYDNEY J. DICK, Chief Postmaster.
