TRADES’ ROWING CLUB. The seventh and final heat for the committee's prize for double sculls was pulled off on the mile course, from Pratt’e to the Willows, and resulted in one of the closest races pulled on the river for some time. The following is the result: — Sonth bank—Cygnet, J. Myers stroke, A. Kungo bow, A. Butterfield cox 1 North bank—Eclipse, E. Wells stroke, J. Paul bow, A. Wells cox 2 Both boats jumped away together at the start, Wells showing a lead of about a quarter of a length during the first hundred yards; then Myers came with a rush, passed him and led by a length at Oowlishaw’s. But Wells here made a grand spurt, and succeeded in reducing Myers' lead to a bare half length, when ho had the misfortune to lose one of hi* sculls, and Myers, taking advantage of this, again drew away and increased his load to a length. Welle made a grand spurt at the finish, but did net succeed in catching Myers, who ultimately won a hard-pulled race by a 1 half-length
