THE Bingsland, Knightslown, and Phillipstown Committees of Mr W. H. Pilliet, M H.R., for the Stanmore Electorate District, have determined that, in view of the expense attending his defending the petition of his late opponent, Mr Cowlishaw, it is necessary to raise a fund to enable those accusations to be repelled in the Electoral Court, the costs of which are so great.
