Pilllot, MH.E., for the Stanmore Electorate District, have determined that, in view of the expense attending his defending the petition of his late opponent, Mr Cowlishaw, it is necessary to raise a fund to enable those accusations to be repelled in the Electoral Court, the costs of which are so groat. The sympathy of the Stanmore electors of all shades of opinion, and that of all Liberals throughout the colony is earnestly appealed to to assist in the matter.
