REAPER AND BINDER TRIAL.
After a very careful and exhaustive consideration on the part of the judges appointed by the Agricultural and Pastoral Association in connection with the recent trial at Burnside, the awards have been made. The duties of the judges, with regard simply to the number of machines entered were onerous enough, but beyond that, as will be seen by the table annexed, they had to consider a variety of points of excellence in the various maohinei and award marks accordingly. The President said he was sure they would all agree with him that the trial just concluded was one of the most important whioh had ever taken plaoe in New Zealand. They would also recognise the fact that the judges had discharged their very difficult task in a most satisfactory manner, and the association was deeply indebted to them. Their thanks, and those of the public were due likewise to Mr Boag for having plaoed his crops at the disposal of the association for the trial and the generous hospitality displayed by him.
