CRICKET.
* > THE ALL-ENGLAND MATCH. The Lancaster Park ground was in very good order, notwithstanding the heavy rain, and an excellent wioket was secured. By 11.30 there was hardly a oloud in the sky, and although there was, perhaps, a little too much wind, the day was altogether a good cricketing day. The public began to muster early, and streams of sight-seers were wending their way eastwards some time before the appointed hour for pitohing the wiokets. Although 11.30 was the time fixed od, it was not till nearly twelve that the game was started, there being always an unavoidable delay in getting a big match under weigh.
