RUMOURED BANKRUPTCY OF CASHEL HOUSE A RUMOUR having got abroad that my affairs have fceaome involved, and that consequently BANKRUPTCY IS INEVITABLE, I beg to assure my customers and the general public that these rumours are not correct, and that such a thing is not likely to occur, as I hold a Stock which at COST PRICE far exceeds my liabilities ; I am determined, however, to silence these rumours by realising the Stock, and in order to do so I intend to I have a MONSTER SALE At which the Goods will be offered at prices which, I am quite sure, will find ready purchasers. Sir, —According to your instructions we have made a practical test and thorough examination of the following Sewing Machines, viz., the Wheeler and Wilson, Jones and Co., Wertheim, and the Davis, and the results of onr experiments are set forth in the tabulated statement attached. We find that the Wertheim and Jones all of the Singer type and similar in construction, and should be classed in the same order. The Wheeler and Wilson differs In construction, but the results of our experiments are similar to the former named. As regards the DAVIS, we cannot but agree with the jury that it is very superior to any of the others, and went through every test to eur entire satisfaction. We therefore beg to recommend that the Machines be placed in the following order : FAMILY MACHINES. Ist, The Davis ; 3rd, Wheeler and Wilson, Jones and Co., Wertheim. HAND MACHINES.
