The influence both of Germany and Austria has been exerted with the Sultan of Turkey in opposition to the agreement recently arrived at with the British representative for the liquidation of the Ottoman debt. The objections raised have had their efifeot, and envoys from Turkey have been sent to Berlin to disouss the whole matter. The reception accorded these envois at the German oapital Jbas been of a most cordial character.
