Theatre Royal. —“ Twelfth Night,” in which Miss Pomeroy made her re-appearance after her absence through illness, was played at the Theatre last night to a crowded house. Mias Pomeroy’s Viola, as on the former occasion, was a really fine performance throughout, and she deserves every credit for her rendition of fhe character. Miss Lizzie Lawrence, though somewhat overweighted with the part of Olivia, yet played it with so evident a desire to please that one forgot tho little defects which were here and there noticeable. Miss Douglas was capital os Maria, indeed, it is one of her best parts. Mr Leake was the Malvolio, and, though here and there somewhat stilted, deserves credit for the way in which he played it. As on a former occasion, Mr Hamilton and Mr Wallace were really excellent in the parts of Sir Toby Belch and Sir Andrew Agueoheek, and so also was Mr Hoskins as the fool. Mr Flemming was o capital double as Sabaat-'an for Viola, and played the character with care and effect. The same piece will he repented ♦o-nirht.
