THE NEW ORINOLETIES.
The crinolettee are made of Uorsonair, oloth, skirt wire, and whalebone. Some are mere pleatings of the haircloth, either very narrow and short for the centre of the back ; some wider and longer, extending over the hips; some a skirt with pleatings of haircloth the whole length ; some pleatings top and bottom with a plain space in the centre ; some of hoopskirt wire, a perfect tornure in shape, and holding the skirt in perfection from waist to hem. These have tape fronts, are cooler than haircloth, and more suggestive of the hoop of olden time. A few are made with the hoops all around at the bottom, and the tournure back. But as yet wo are not ready for them ; fashion does not respond. As a few trained dresses are still worn, some of the orinolettes are arranged for added trains.
