Mails class at the Chief Poet Office for the 'oUowing places (subject to the necessary •Iteration*) as tinder : FRIDAY, DECEMBER 30. For Otago, per Wakatipn, at 11.30 a.m.; late fee letters, 11.40 a.m.; guard's van, 12.10 p.m. train. For Northern Porta, per Southern Cross, at 3.20 p.m. ; late fee letters, 3.30 p.m.; guard's ran, 4 p.m. train. SATURDAY, DECEMBER 31. For United 'Kingdom, Continents of Europe and America, West Indies, Cape or Good Hope, Natal, &c. (via San Francisco), Sandwich Islands, and Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Wanaka as followß : —Ordinary letters at 6.30 p.m. ; late fee letters, at 7 p.m. ; books and newspapers, at 6.30 p.m. ; money orders at 3 p.m. ; registered correspondence, at 5 p.m.; guard's van, 8.10 p.m. train. This mail will be due in London on February 14th. Notice.—Monday, 2nd January, will be kept as Post Office holiday, and the offices will open for one hour only, namely, from 9 to 10 a.m., for sale of stamps and registration and delivery of letters. The chief office will open from 8 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, 31st instant, for delivery of letters to applicants, as there will be no delivery by letter carriers on the following Monday. SYDNET J.
