[EETJTEr'S TELEGRAMS.] SYDNEY, December 20. Appointments. It is announced that the following gentlemen have been appointed members of the Legislative Council of New South Wales : Messrs Sutherland, Brodriff, Webb, Terry, Alderson, Joseph, Cadell, Mort, Macintosh, Sutton, Lee, Prindle, and Roberts. Banquet. A second grand banquet was held in honor of Sir Henry Parkes last night. Over two hundred persons were present, and the affair was a great success. The Ministry. It is announced that Sir John Robertson returns to tho Ministry as Secretary for Lands, vice Mr James Hoskins, and that he will perform the duties of Colonial Secretary in the absence of Sir Henry Parkes.
