[bsutbe’s telegbams.] MELBOURNE, December 24. Fanaticism. A religions camp meeting takes place at Queenscliffe to-morrow (Christmas Day). It is understood that a large number of families will attend. i Cricket. The Intercolonial Cricket Match between an eleven of Victoria and an eleven' of New South Wales was commenced to-day. The first innings of the Victorians closed for 232, and at the close of the day’s play the Sydney team had one wicket down for 21 rone. SYDNEY, December 24. Fire. An extensive fire has occurred to-day at Forbes, in this colony. Five shops were completely destroyed, and the total damage is estimated at fnlly £20,000. Two persons have been severely injured by the fire. ADELAIDE, December 24, The English Eleven. The cricket match between the English team and fifteen of South Australia was resumed to-day. The first innings of the local team closed for 244 runs. At the close of to-day’s play the English team had two wickets down for 126 runs—Selby, not out, 61; Barlow, not out, 46,
