In the Cortes to-day, Senor Armio, Minister of Foreign Affairs, announced that a protest had been recently sent by Spain to England against the charter granted to the North Borneo Trading Company, and that diplomatic correspondence was now proceeding between the British and Spanish Governments in regard to the matter.
