WOODEND HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY.
The first show in connection with this society was held in the district schoolroom on Thursday, and proved a great success. The exhibits in the amateur class were numerous and keenly contested, particularly the vegetables. The staging was very effectively carried out by Messrs Nairn and Witchell.
