[PBB FBES3 ASSOCIATION.] DUNEDIN, December 15. Our Coal Product. The Government have accepted the Westport Company's tender for the supply of 30,000 tons of coal for railway purposes during the year 1882. Fatal AccidentArchibald Watson, residing at Woodhaugb, was killed last night by a tree he was felling falling on him. PATEA, December 15. Fire. A six-roomed cottage, the property of Lawrenoe Salmon, builder, of Kakaramea, was accidentally burned last evening. The house was insured for £IOO in the Union and £SO in the National offices, and the furniture for £SO in the National office. Nothing was saved.
