[PBB PEBB3 ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, December 13, Alleged Plural Voting. Some excitement was caused in town to-day on the report that an information had been laid against the Hon. 0. J, Pharazyn, M.L.0., for plural voting at the Thorndon election. The information was laid by the Returning Officer, and accuses Mr Pharazyn of having voted at the two booths. HAMILTON, December 13, The Elections. The official declaration of the poll for Waipa to day declared the majority in favour of Mr Whitaker to be 38. All the candidates were present, FOXTON, December 13. The official declaration of the poll was made to day :—Wilson, 379 ; Izard, 243 ; Bussell, 227 ; Buffer, 212 ; Newman, 199 j France, 62. DUNEDIN, December 13. Quick Travelling. The “ Star ” mentions that the mail, via the Orient line, was delivered here yesterday, thirty-eight days from London. Earthquake. There was a slight shook of earthquake felt at Wanganui and Wellington at one o’clock this morning.
