The s.s. Penguin arrived from Mannkan and ■way porta this morning, and leaves for Wellington'.and Nelson at 9 p.m. The ship Lady Jocelyn arrived from London last night after a passage of ninety-nine days, with sixty-five passengers. One of the saloon passengers, Mr E. Reid, of Dunedin, died on October 15th from heart disease and consumption. While the ship was being towed np the harbor the tow line gave a jerk and carried away the chock through which it passed, and, striking the boatswain, broke his leg just above the ankle.
