Mails olobo at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to tbe necessary alterations) as under >— SATUEDAT, DECEMBER 3. For Kaikoura, per Tui, at 630 p m. ; late fee letters, 7 p.m. ; guard's van, 8.30 p.m. train. For Otago, per Wakatipu, at 6 30 p.m. ; late fee letters, 7 p.m. ; guard's van. 8.30 p.m. train. For United Kingdom, Continents of Europe and America, West Indies, Cape ot Good Hope, Natal, &c. (via San PrancißCO), Sandwich Islands, and Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Wanaka aa follows -.—Ordinary letters at 6.30 p.m. ; late fee letters, at 7 p.m. ; books and newspapers, at 6.30 p.m. ; money orders at 3 p.m.; registered correspondence, at 5 0.m.; guard's van, 8.30 p.m. train. This mail will be due in London on January 17th. MONDAY, DECEMBER 5. For Northern portß, per Oreti, at 1.45 p.m. ; late fee letters, 2 p.m.; guard's van, 2.40 p.m. train.

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 6. For Chatham Inlands, per Omaha, at 9.40 a m.; late fee letters, 9.50 a.m.; guard's van, 10.20 a.m train.

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 7. For Australian colonies, per express train (connecting with Ringarooma at Port Chalmers) at 7 a.m.

Notice. —On and after Nov. 1, 1881, money orders will be isßned in New Zealand payable at any town in Germany, and after let January next Money Orders will be issued in New Zealand payable in the United States of America.
