Australian tallow, best beef, 38s; best mutton, 41s 6d. Foundering of the British Navy. The ship British Navy, hound from London to Sydney, while proceeding down the channel, came into collision with an unknown vessel off Deal. The former suffered severe injury, and sank shortly after the collision. Twenty persons on hoard were drowned. Wool SalesAt the wool sale to-day 8700 hales were offered. A good demand was experienced.
SAN FRANCISCO, November 28. The ZealandiaArrived —Pacific mail steamship Zealandia, from Auckland, three days in advance of contract time.
