At the usual sitting of the Waste Lands Board, held at Christchurch on Monday, November 28th, sales were made as follows: — Ordinary : Ashley, 100 a; Selwyn, 2lp ; Akaroa, 2r; Ashburton, la 3r 24p ; Geraldine, 2a 3r; Waimate, 2rl4p. Deferred payments, village settlements, 5a ir. Public Eeserves Sale Act, borough of Ashburton, la 2r; town Arowhenna, 1c; suburban, 31a Or *Bp. Total acreage sold, T47a. Total cash received, £966 Bs. Kefunds on account of former purchases were made in the amount of £'s 9s 9d.
