COMMERCIAL.
CORN EXCHANGE, The following is the report for the week ending Friday evening, November 25th There was no change to report in the state of the market daring the past week ; business is in a very dormant state. The growing crops are as a rule looking well, although rain would be acceptable. Wheat—Valnes are unaltered; good sound milling, in shipping lines; is worth from 4s Gi to 4s 9d per bushel f.0.b.; second quality samples 4s to 4s 4d per bnshel; chick wheat, 3s to 3s Gd perbashel. The latter is in fairly good demand. Oats—There is no alteration to note in the state of the market, good short milling samples arc worth from 2s Id to 2s 2d per bushel f.o.b , feed quality, 1 a lOd to Is lid per bnshel. Barley—There is little or no business being transacted in this cereal. Really good malting samples are, however, saleable at from 2s 9d to 3s 6d per buahol; medium quality is not saleable ; feed samples from Is 9d to 2s per bushel. Cheese and Butter —The former is in pretty fair demand, at from 4d to 4sd per lb ; the latter is in good supply, and worth from Sid to 6d per lb.
