At the sittings of tho "Waste T,ands Board held at Christchnrch on the 17th and 21st. sales wore made as follow.--,:—Ordinary—Ashley, 101 a; Sehvyn 21a Or 27i>; Akaroa, sua; Ashburtou, Pa 2r; Geraldine, 86a; borough of Asbbnrton, 2r; town of South Bakaia, la lr. Deferred payments, village settlements, ;8a Or 25p. Total acreage sold, 333 a2r 12p. Total cash received, £1727 Os 3d. Eefnnds on account of former purchases wore made in thoamonut of £2'o 7s 3d. At an anctiou sale held on Wednesday, November 10th, tho following laud was sold, nnder the Snecial Powers and Contracts Act, ISSO— Creek township, 3a lr, for £ll3.
