Total, £4BB Is 2d. COMMERCIAL TELEGRAMS. Gkktmodth, November 14. Unprecedented activity prevails in the share market. Langdon's Extended are now quoted, buyers 2s, sellers 2s 6d. Heefton, November 14. Mr G. C. Bowman reports for the week ending November 12th :—The United Alpine obtained for the week 216 ounces amalgam from 195 tons quartz ; the Welcome got 1114 ounces amalgam from 90 tons; Golden Treasure, 60 ounces amalgam from the top plates from 32 tons. Payable stone is being followed in the winze. The Golden Point have driven twelve feet from the point where the very rich stone was Btrnck in the intermediate level, and tho quality of the stone continues exceedingly rich. A water race is to be brought in and a battery ereoted. The Keßp-it-Dark Company's crushing commenced on Thursday, and the top plates look exceedingly well. The Fiery Cross Extended completed their crushing, and were to clean up today. Favorable results are anticipated. Nil Desperandum—The tribnters are still working on payable stone. The company are considering the advisability of prospecting the south end of the mine. Wealth of Nations—The full battery of 20 stamps was started on Wednesday. Sellers' quotations are 10 to 20 per cent, higher.
