[betjteb's telegrams.] LONDON, November 9. Carcase Butchers' leagueThe cargo of frozen meat brought by Messrs R. H. Sloman and Co.'s steamship Catania arrived in excellent condition, and was submitted at auction at Smithfield market to-day. No demand was, however, experienced, and the meat realised an average of only 3d to 4d per lb all round. The Markets.
The Stock Exchange was closed to-day, there are, therefore, no changes to report in the money market. Adelaide wheat, ex warehouse, has fallen Is, and is quoted to-day at 565; New Zealand wheat has declined Is 6d, to si!s 6d. Adelaide flour, ex store, has fallen Is, to 41s. Australian tallow —best beef, 38s; best mutton, 41s. Consols are unchanged at 99f. The total reserve in notes and bullion in the Bank of England is £10,500,000. The Bank rate of discount is unchanged at 5 per cent, and the market rate at 3f per cent. New Zealand Five Per Cent. 10-40 Loan has advanced by £1 to 104 j. Five per Cent. 1889 remains at 103, ex div.; Four-and-Half per Cent, 1879-1904 Loan is quoted at 104 J, also an advance of £l. Pig iron, No. 1, f.0.b., in Clyde has advanced to 52s per ton. Colonial breadsluffs and tallow are unchanged. Shipping.

CONSTANTINOPLE, November 10. The War Indemnity. 11. Novikoff, the Russian Ambassador, has sent a communication to the Porte declaring that the Russian Government will oppose any agreement that may be arrived at between the bondholders' delegates and the Turkish Financial Commission for the settlement of the Turkish finances and the claims of the foreign creditors' -of the Porte, unless the question of the Russian war indemnity is simultaneously considered and some arrangements come to for its payment.
The Porte has sent a communication to M. Novikoff, the Russian Ambassador, stating that it cannot agree to the demand of his Government that the question of payment of the Russian war indemnity should be considered simultaneously with the claims of foreign bondholders. PARIS, November 10. Political. In the Chamber of Deputies last night a vote of censure proposed on the Ferry Government for its policy in Tunis was rejected by a substantial majority, and a resolution was further adopted, at the instance of M. Gambetta, that France should loyally abide by the treaty concluded with the Bey of Tunis. M. Ferry, President of the Council of Ministers, to-day tendered his resignation and that of his colleagues to President Grevy, and M. Gambetta has since been summoned to form a new Ministry.
