A man who had just married a widow in Georgia undertook on the day after the wedding to whip his stepson. He was suddenly seized by the bride, who held him fgat till the boy out his throat from ear to ear. “ What ho ! without there exclaimed the fierce tragedian, and the new “ supe ” hastened to say, “There isn’t any hoe at all, out here."
