GOOD TEMPLARY.

Tie usual weekly mealing of the New Victory Lodge, No. 245, was held at the Templar Hall, on Thursday, the [3rd inst. After the UEnal opening ceremonies, two candidates were initiated. Tho election of District Deputy and Grand Lodge representatives were then prcceed d witb, 67 members being present to vote. The several reports of tho retiring officers wore then read, that of tho W.S., Bro. Armstong, being a clear and vivid description of the state of the lodge throughout the quarter, deserving great credit for tho manner in which it was worked, showing tho lodge to be in a vory successful condition, 126 members being good on the books. The following officers were then installed for the ensuing quarter :—W.O.T., Bro. Grant; W.V.T., Bro. Wood; W.S., Bro. Hill ; W.F S., Bro. MoOoncell; W.T., Bra. Wilson; W.C., His. E. Stirling; W.M., Bro. Pollock; W.1.G., Bro. Birobfiold; W.0.G., Bro. Uren; W.A.8., Sis. McDowdall ; W.D.M., Sister Wood ; W R.H.S., Sis. Johnson; W.L.H.S., Sis. Le Mesuier; P.W.0.T., Bro. McGregor. A vote of thanks was passed to the rotiring officers, coupled with the names of Bro. and Sis. J. T. Clarke, who leave fcr Sydney next week. The lodge was then closed by the W.0.T., Bro. Gr»nt, at 9 50. The Pride of Sydenham Lodge, No. 200, held its usual weekly meeting on Thursday, November 3rd, Bro. T. Hcatb, W.0.T., presiding. After the usual business was over, four were initiated and several more proposed for membership. The elections for District Daputy and G.L. representative were then proceeded with, after which Bro. G. W. Clarke, assisted by Bros. O. W. Ross and B. Booth, installed tho following officers: — W.0.T., Bro. Knight; W.R.H.S., Sister McOormick; W.L.H.S, Sister Price; W.V.T., Bister Picket; W.T. Bro. Stokes; W.F.8., Bro. Pleasand ; W. 8., Bro. F. Henwood ; W.A.S, Bro. Milne; W. 0., Sister M.A. Brown; W.M., Bro. H. Honwood, junr.; W.D.M , Sister B. Smith; W.J.G., Bro. Roberaon ; W.O.G , Bro. Groves. Bro. H. Henwood, senr., was duly nominated LDG.W.O.T.
