The Customs duties collected at Christchurch on Monday, October 31st, wore as follows : Spirits, £431 11s 4d ; tobacco, .£165 18s 9d; wine, £sl 16s ; beer, £3 17s ; sugar, £33 Is lOd ; tea, £lO lls 4d ; goods by weight, £l2 15s 3d; ad valorem, £SB 8a ; other duties, £5 16a 3d. Total, £783 10a 9d.
