[eetjteb’s teleqeams.] LONDON, October 29. Arrests in IrelandArrests of prominent agitators continue to bo made in Ireland under the Viceroy’s warrant. Among those recently placed in custody is Mr McHale, a Catholic priest. PAMS, October 29, Meeting of Presidents. Gambetta, President of the Chamber of Deputies, had an intorvinw to-day with President Grevay. No particulars of the meeting have yet transpired. BERLIN, October 29. The Elections. The elections to the Gorman Reichstag have resulted unfavorably for the Government, which has now no working majority in Parliament. Among the defeated Ministerial candidates was a son of Prince Bismarck. There has been a largo increase in the number of Socialist candidates elected to the Reichstag.
The MarketsThe are no changes to report to-day in the money or produce markets. Galvanized iron, 26in guage, has advanced to £lB. Best Sydney copra remains at £l6.
