Turpentine has been almost cleared out for export Sugars at public auction yesterday failed to find purchasers except for small lots at 30s and 31s for finest whites, and 27s for yellow counters. The bulk was withdrawn. Teas are quite neglected. Woolpacka are firm at 3s 3d to 3s 6d, and at present in abort supply. Should the Robin Hood, now overdue]! from Calcutta, not arrive shortly, a further advance may bo expected. Dried fruits meet with little sale. Currants are easier. Raisins are too high to find buyers ; considerable inquiry has been made for boiled and raw oils for export—these now show an advance of 3d per gallon. In liquids, bottled ales are difficult to quit, stout is firm and in short supply. Port wine of high quality is in demand, while sherries and sparkling wines meet with no inqniry. Clarets meet with ready sale at from 12a upwards. Lime juice cordial has been in goed request, and had business at 18s. Fencing wire is secure. Credit ia good, and engagements well met, and daring the next week considerable business should resalt.
