[beutek’s TELEGRAMS.] LONDON, October 26. The Markets. Consols have advanced to 99]-. The market rate of discount has fallen from 4-J- to 4i; Bank rate 3 per cent. New Zealand securities are unchanged:— 5 per cent. 10-40 loan, 100 J; 5 per cent. 1889 loan, 103-J; 4£ per cent. 1879-1904 loan, 98J. Colonial breadstuffs have declined Is per quarter; Adelaide wheat, ex store, 575; New Zealand wheat, 545. Adelaide flour, ex store, remains at 425. Australian tallow, host hoof, 395; host mutton, 42s per cwt. The Premier. The Right Hon. W. E. Gladstone is i now on a visit to tho Earl of Derby, at his seat at Knowsloy.
