OHRIBTOHUROH. Friday, October 28, [Before G. L. Mellish, Esq , B.M.] Drunkenness. — Mary Ann White was brought up for being drunk and disorderly. She had been found in a yard on the promises of Mr George Bowron, at Bingeland, at half-past two o’clock in tho morning. Prisoner, who has frequently been convicted on similar charges, assured tho Bench that she could “ certify” to the honesty of her intentions. She had a friend at the place where she was found, and she had merely gone in to eeo her. She was fined 20s. Failing to Provide. —S. Branafield Braoefleld was charged with having neglected lo support his child. He had been arrested on the 20th inst. on a warrant issued at Waimato in 1878. Ho was now remanded to that place to appear on November Ist.
