[beuter's telegrams.] LONDON, October 24. Sympathy with Messrs Parnell and * Dillon. At a meeting of the Dublin Corporation to-day, a proposal was submitted by one of the aldermen that the freedom of the city should be presented to Mr Parnell and Mr Dillon, who are now in custody under the provisions of the Coercion Act. The proposal was discussed at some length, but was finally rejected by a substantial majority. WASHINGTON, October 25. The Secretaryship. Mr Morgan, who was recently offered the Secretaryship of the United States Treasury in succession to Mr Windom, resigned, has declined the position owing to ill-health.
